About Peggy Bissing LPC
Peggy Bissing is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and EMDR therapist in the State of Texas. Her professional credentials include a Bachelor’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Master’s degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio.
She has spent many years working with youth and adults that have legal problems, substance abuse issues and a history of trauma. She has experience working in the public school setting helping at-risk teenagers with emotional disturbances, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and children with various other developmental disabilities. This experience allows her to understand the challenge this brings to the family unit. Family involvement in the therapeutic process can help improve behavior problems in teens.
